Jessica Heritage

I have a love for horror, thriller and action movies which led me to exploring behind the scenes of filming where I fell in love with Special Effects Makeup. I spent the next 3 years teaching myself SPFX before finishing school and moving New Zealand where I did a Diploma in Film & Television Makeup and Special Effects. Here I also learnt basic hair-styling, wig application and removal, wig blocking and cleaning as well. Once the course finished I was given the fantastic opportunity to further my fascination for prosthetics and SPFX and interned on Ash vs Evil Dead in the prosthetics department for 3 weeks. The internship finished and I was hired as a Junior Prosthetic Assistant for the remaining 8 weeks. I have also worked on a 48 hour film and loved it.
